The website that finally matched the rooms she builds
A design-led digital experience for a custom window treatment studio, built to make you feel something before you even pick up the phone.
The moment that started it all
“You know that feeling when you walk into a room and the light is just… right?”
Not too bright. Not gloomy. The kind of morning light that makes you want to sit down with your coffee and actually stay there, instead of squinting at the sun and relocating to a different chair.
That’s what Alicia does. She makes rooms feel like they were designed for your actual life. Custom window treatments and soft furnishings that aren’t just beautiful — they change how you move through your home.
And for three years, her website had been telling none of that story.

The problem
Her work had grown. Her website hadn’t come with her.
Alicia and I have been working together since August 2022. Over time, I watched her work get sharper, her clients get more discerning, and her projects get more ambitious — including a beautiful feature in the CHEO Dream Homes showcase.
But someone landing on her site for the first time wouldn’t know any of that. The website felt disconnected from the work — like showing up to a beautifully styled room in the wrong outfit.
The gap wasn’t about design taste. It was about trust. When potential clients couldn’t feel the quality of her work through the screen, they hesitated. And hesitation costs bookings.

The approach

We built the site like she designs a room, every detail intentional, nothing wasted.
The brief wasn’t “make it pretty.” It was: when someone lands on this site, I want them to feel what it’s like to live in one of her spaces. Calm. Considered. A little elevated — but warm, not cold.
That meant spacious layouts that let the work breathe. A soft neutral palette that didn’t compete with her imagery. Copy that talked to real people making real decisions about their homes — not interior design industry-speak.
And a portfolio page for the CHEO Dream Homes feature that doesn’t just show photos — it walks you through the project like you’re discovering the room yourself.

What we built

Homepage — An editorial first impression that earns trust before a word is read, and guides visitors naturally toward booking.
Services — Custom work explained simply — approachable enough to inquire, elevated enough to justify the investment.
Portfolio — A featured project page that tells the story behind the space, not just the finished look.
Shop — Custom pillows as a lower-barrier entry point — so new clients can fall in love with the work before committing to a full project.
About — The human behind the craft. Builds the kind of trust that makes someone pick up the phone.
Contact — Warm, simple, and friction-free. Nothing gets in the way of someone reaching out.
The result

When you land on it now, there’s a moment where you just… settle in. You don’t rush to find the contact page. You browse. You imagine. You picture what it would feel like to have someone this thoughtful working on your home.
That’s the goal. And that’s what books projects.
The shop also opens a new door, people who aren’t ready for a full installation can start with a custom pillow. And once they experience the quality? They come back for everything else.

Is Your Interior Design Website Actually Working For You?
Your website should feel as good as the work you do. If there’s a gap between the two, let’s close it.

I’m Brittany Levesque, the founder of The Cultivators, a website design studio based in South Mountain, Ontario, working with service-based businesses across Canada.
Every project is handled by me personally, start to finish. No handoffs. No account managers. Just a direct working relationship with the person who is actually building your site.
I work with interior designers, coaches, therapists, consultants, wellness practitioners, and service-based entrepreneurs who are ready for a website that reflects the level of their work and brings in the right clients consistently.
Projects start at $3,600 CAD. Every build includes strategy before design, SEO structure, mobile-responsive development, and personalized post-launch training.
